Director/Producer, OVERLOAD

SOOZIE EASTMAN is a filmmaker, new mom and daughter of a former industrial chemical distributor. After reading a study done by the Environmental Working Group that showed no newborn in the United States has less than 200 synthetic chemicals in their bodies, she was propelled into action to make OVERLOAD: America’s Toxic Love Story.

Through her film journey, Soozie gained a greater awareness of our daily exposure to chemicals in the products we use and food we buy and what changes we can make to lessen those exposures. She has created the website Cleaner Greener Me as a resource for people to learn about what changes they, too, can make to minimize and avoid unnecessary toxin overuse and exposures impacting us, our planet and future generations.
